For several years, I've worked with photo and video
students at New Trier High School. Collaborating with teachers Stephen Murphy
and Kathy Pilat. After sharing examples of photo/video projects that use
language in an interesting way, we then help students develop text for projects
ranging from video diaries, to animating still photographs with narrative,
to memory pieces. The pieces below reflect student writing and photography,
using images from street photography in Chicago and suburbs. |
