Anti-Isolation Project: a facilitated inter-arts Evanston Salon

Designed for artists and writers seeking connection, provocation and support.

If you require solitude yet crave community...

If you are an artist or writer seeking provocation and inspiration...

If you believe, like I heard the author Dorothy Allison say, that “we call the best work out from each other”...

then this may be for you.

Inspired by my own practice–which is grounded in solitude but requires yeasty feedback–I launched this new endeavor in the spring of 2018, priced modestly and designed with flexibility and drop-in schedules in mind. For more details, go here.

Presented at Adler George Studio, 1125 Florence, in Evanston’s West Evanston Arts district, the fall session of the ANTI-ISOLATION PROJECT launches Monday night, September 17.

The A-I Project starts each evening by a short presentation/discussion of an artist, followed by facilitated group discussion, inquiry and critique. New for fall 2018, I've chosen some artists with exhibits in the area! And, plans for a First Saturday Open Studio are afoot.

You can pay upfront online right here–if you’re on the fence, come the first night before signing up and decide then.
