Challenge #7: Beauty of the Book

Challenge #7  Deadline Sunday noon, 5/3

THE BEAUTY OF THE BOOK:  We read them, stack them, book-mark them, swipe and store them. Share your images—photos, sketches, videos, text—that celebrate and explore the beauty of the book. Or, sketch a scene from your book, or write our your favorite quote. As usual, you don’t have to call yourself an artist to participate! The more the merrier.

THURSDAY 4/30 at noon (CST): If you are interested in hearing about my book-making, I’m doing an hour zoom talk, show and tell courtesy of Jamie Thome and the Artists Book House. Here’s that zoom link to join.

Making a book from materials in your house is a great anti-boredom, anti-screen treatment…whether it’s accordion books or simple folded books, I would love to see some! Adults/kids….

Two ways to share as follows (both are great but your choice).

Instagram. Tag with #fourhandscollab #beautyofthebook #artinthetimeofcorona
plus #evanstonmade if appropriate

File upload for web gallery: go here and upload your file (this is a dropbox file request link, no account needed). Any media welcome, including sound files (.mp3) and video (urls from YouTube, Vimeo, Animoto, or Wistia). Title your piece with your name, understanding that title will show in the web gallery.  No text or explanations needed.
